About this project
A small, independent tool that turns pictures into fuse bead patterns. It exists because the alternatives either wanted an account, sent images to a server, or produced patterns that were unpleasant to actually build from.
Who makes it
The site is built and maintained by Weng Huiming, a single developer. There is no company behind it and no team; if something is broken, one person fixes it.
The same conversion engine also powers a Chinese-language version of this tool. This site is the English and German edition, built from the same code with everything account-related removed.
How it is built
Everything runs in your browser. That is a deliberate design choice, not a limitation: it means the site cannot see your pictures even if someone asked it to, it works as fast as your own device, and it costs almost nothing to keep online — which is why it can stay free.
The color matching compares each cell against the palette in CIELAB space using Delta E, which follows human perception far better than comparing RGB values. The board planning follows the 29 × 29 pegboard that is standard across the supported brands.
The conversion behaviour is covered by regression tests that lock the exact output of fixed test images, so a change to the interface cannot quietly change the patterns people are already building from.
What this site deliberately does not do
It has no gallery, no community feed, and no way to share your work publicly. Those need moderation, and moderation needs a team.
It does not host or supply artwork. You bring the image; the tool converts it.
It does not sell beads, and it does not link to a shop in exchange for commission.
How it is funded
The site is intended to carry advertising. Exports stay free and unwatermarked; there is no paid tier that unlocks a better pattern. If that ever changes, it will be stated here plainly rather than discovered at the download button.
